Feminities

As femininities living in a patriarchal society, we are challenged every day to set boundaries.
Sexism can cause pain and anger. What do we do with this pain? How the materials can accommodate our pain? What can we contain? When we feel safe and accepted our boundaries can break.
Clay plays between being totally malleable before the kiln and being solid, setting clear boundaries, after the kiln. Canvas and paper can accept fluids over and over but they do have a clear boundary of their shape and the amount of fluids they can accept until they rip.
In this collection, I am experimenting with the aspects of feminity keeping in mind boundaries.
