We see the dreams we can contain

This project was part of the seeds residency (https://projectseeds.eu/) in the collective Officinas do Convent (https://oficinasdoconvento.com/). In this residency we learned sustainable art practices with earth experimenting both with clay and raw earth, all clay works that were made in this residency were wood fired. Throughout this residency I explored personal feelings about dreaming keeping in mind sustainability both environmental and emotional. My personal art making process being in collaboration and living with twelve artists inspired me to create an interactive installation including the sculptures I made.
Why we remember the dreams we remember? What remains from them? Can we digest them? I am thinking that we see the dreams we are able to contain.
I created a woman who is containing dreams. Some unfired objects from my dreams were hanging from the dream filter to the woman container. The dreams that I have access to have passed the "dream filter".
The day of the exhibition I created my process of containing dreams in the one side and next to it I created the space for the visitors to explore their process. I placed raw clay, an unfired dream filter and a container with water where people were welcome to have a moment to create something from their dream and throw it in a container with water. The dreams coo existed for few nights until I put them all together in the river.
