Creatures of Abandonment, Performance of making Art

This artwork is part of a collective residency with a group of 30 artists who worked together participating collectively in an open one day exhibition/event.

When I arrived in the building it felt normal to play with trash. I found it funny
to play with abandonment. While playing creatures naturally were born from
the material of the building through my hands. With them I felt more
comfortable to play in the building. One day that Sinthia was becoming bigger
the police came, I got scared and I abandoned her. I came back to her the day
of the exhibition. That day Silvia was born as well and another abandoned
creature. They were hanging out in the building trying to find their spot.
Gradually they chilled near the bar. Eva wanted to hang out with them and
she wanted to introduce them to the visitors. When people were passing by
she was asking them for some help. During the night we baptized them. Also
visitors shared their thoughts about them and about the relationships between
them, Eva was doing something weird whatever was said she was writing it in
the wall.
